46th BCS circular/notification has been published, Preliminary examination is most likely to be held by the end of the March
Public Service Commission (PSC) has released the 46th BCS circular. The notification was published on the PSC website as on 30 November, 2023 (Thursday) afternoon. Candidates can apply from December 10, 2023.
Candidate’s age should be between 21 to 30 years to apply. Those whose date of birth is between November 2, 1993 and November 2, 2002 can apply. However, the maximum age for children of freedom fighters, physically challenged candidates and BCS health cadre candidates is 32 years.
Interested eligible candidates have to complete the application process through online. Candidates have to go to the PSC website and apply through the prescribed form of PSC. Application can be made till 31 December. Application fee is BDT 700/-

Most of the 3 thousand 140 posts will be taken in health cadre. 1 thousand 682 BCS assistant surgeons, 16 assistant dental surgeons will be recruited out of 2074 professional/technical cadre. After that most will be taken in education cadre. 520 people will be taken from this cadre for BCS education in various subjects. 274 people will be taken in BCS administration, 10 in foreign affairs, 80 in police, 14 in Ansar, 49 in BCS family planning, 26 in fisheries and 65 in public works. 46th BCS preliminary exam may be held in March after application.
